Well, Lowell just left to go play poker at Jake's and I'm here deciding what to do for the night...
Work on the blogs?
Have a glass of wine, and watch a documentary?
Try and finish reading Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire?
Yes, I'm still reading the fourth book, and sometimes I feel as if I'm the only one! Hell, there are four year olds who have read all seven! I'm behind, but I'm okay with it. I was trying to read all the books up to the new movie that's coming out, but I doubt that will happen! They are just so massive, and I really don't have the time to read all day long! The past two months I've read The Chamber of Secrets and The Prisoner of Azkaban, which I've been pretty proud about. I've only really started reading a lot lately. I used to have a lot of trouble staying focused, get half-way through a book, get bored (kind of how I am now with Goblet of Fire), and then stop reading for a few months, or sometimes a full year. That's one thing I could do.
Watch a movie?
I have lots of movies that I need to watch, left over from Blockbuster, and some that I'd really like to watch again. But I could watch a movie anytime, and it's really nice outside which makes me think it'd be wasting the day sitting my butt on the couch!
I could, but I've been working my butt off the past couple of months. My eyes hurt from staring at the computer screen, and the thought of doing more work is a total mood killer! However, I'm not where I want to be, especially with my green blog (which has ONE POST that I did a LONG time ago) which needs A LOT of work and effort put in, and my writing blog which I've neglected lately also. But it's still work. Do I REEEALLY want to do more work on a Friday night? Not really.
That, I believe, is the most logical option. Have a glass of wine and relax while watching a program I can learn something from is pretty ideal right now. I've grown pretty fond of educational programs lately. Stupid reality shows, in ANY form, are just worthless to me. Pointless. Waste of my time. Thank god for Hulu.
The verdict:
+ Erin = Happiness.
Until later tonight,
